Advances in sequencing technology have unprecedentedly led to discoveries which promise progress in our understanding of human disease, innovative diagnostics and therapeutics, and a new era of precision medicine, where medical management is customized to an individual’s genome. This Conference “Integrating Genomics into National Healthcare Sharing Experience between Genomics Thailand and Genomics England (GeT GEL)” is hosted by Chulalongkorn University, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thailand Research Fund, Ministry of Public Health of Thailand, National Research Council, TCELS, Newton Fund, and University College London. It will be held for three days. The first day is an education precongress day, aiming for non-genomicist clinical specialists and scientists to become genomic literate. The second day is for experts of Genomics England to share their experiences. And the third day is to publicize Genomics Thailand about its policy, directions, strategic plans and operation manuals.
